Inability to get funds transferred

This company has refused to transfer 403B retirement funds after repeated attempts to get funds moved. Every time we contacted the company a new "form" was needed/missing. We began the process in July and still have no resolution. We have submitted notarized forms on 3 occasions and have spent many hours and about $100 in notary and postage fees to get our own money back from this company. We have dealt with 2 other firms transferring old 403B accounts and it was a quick and painless process, this company is at best uncooperative and I am starting to think they may be perpetuating a fraud.

Short Term Disability

Worst insurance company I have ever had to deal with. First couple weeks of short term disability was paid quickly.

After that .y case worker, Wanda Knight, barely communicated with me.

Constantly played phone games, took 11 days to call me back, always had an issue with any paperwork that was sent to her from the doctors office, was rude multiple times on the phone, and suspended my disability insurance twice. As of right now I am owed a month's pay and still have yet to see any of the money.

I sympathize withy what you are going threw. I worked at my job for 10 plus years.

Had Lincoln Financial Group for short term and long term disability with my insurance the whole 10 plus years. The first time i had to apply for short term disability was on August 14, 2020 because i have chronic migraines and vertigo. They denied my claim and i was let go from my job because of them. i am fighting the appeal.

They are a Billion dollar company. They are a bunch of snakes.

Still fighting for long term disability after a year and half

This company at every turn will do anything and everything to find a reason not to pay you your benefits that you worked hard for and paid every two weeks. Unbelievable, that they can get away with the stress they put me under, it amazes me. no wonder they filthy rich, they never pay claims.

Don't return phone calls nor emails , to many claims examiners in one person claim . Like to see them live on nothing while they wait to decide if qualify .

I have a legitimate claim and they are giving me the run around, The website does not work for claims. Hard to get the forms needed, Hard to get ahold of anyone, Then when you do they come up with excuses to reduce the claim amount. They say I live in a state where I can get state disability..So why am I paying for the insurance..You owe me a refund.

My problem started when I got admitted with Covid-19 .Called lincoln financial and told them to mail my forms but it took 15 days to get here which is my due date to submit form.I did call twice to email forms but my doctors office said initially that they mailed so I waited but unfortunately I found out they shred my paperwork which was not my fault but they denied my FMLA.My suggestion was if the 15 day is due in 3 days they could have called or email me but they did not.I wish this will not happen to other clients .Thanks

Have been off work since May still off work they made one payment denied me after that still under doctor care they kept my money so I couldn't pay for my prescription as the result trip to med x who sent me directly to hospital by rescue squad spent a week in the hospital paid me a payment and again denied my claim finally turned them in to the va insurance commission waiting for my paperwork now maybe they have a answer for them send the paperwork to Lincoln insurance called them about denial asked them if that's their policy to keep sending the claims the man rudely told me he didn't have to take that *** and hung up called and asked to talk to the manager and still have not received a call from them

I called to the Lincoln financial company million times to close my account that was open without my will. The representatives are always lie that my account is closed but, if it's closed then how come they are still sending me statements and charging some fees and expenses. My next step is to make claim to the government as a financial fraud with following court case. I found out that IRS, FBI, and Secret Service are taking care of companies like that.

Lincoln Financial manages the leave services for my company and oh my god! I f I was as bad at my job as these people are I wouldn't have one. They don't answer phone calls or emails, it's like a revolving door, they have a archaic phone system. They are terrible! do not use them for anything!

The worst experience I have ever had, they denied my claim and 2 other co workers that I know of, they have prolonged the process in forwarding documents to my lawyers, but I will not stop. what this company is doing is wrong, taking our hard earned money in premiums and not helping us when desperately needed, I will make sure they stand by their word, if I have to wait years, so be it. They can delay the process all they want I have nothing but time and I will use it make sure they pay what they owe. How many people have knowingly denied, its not right. I hope people will read this reviews before purchasing policies form this company . The stress they are causing me is unreal and being sick on top of it all. Very Unhappy

Ditto same abusive handling with my claim. Lupus with pain resulting in cognitive issues n screwed financially!

It didn’t matter having supporting doctors... longterm disablity and i worked at an insurance agency 15 yrs to boot. They do NOT care and how dare they hide behind president Lincolns name....lost paperwork is their specialty. I paid premiums 15 years They should be ashamed of themselves!

30 yrs in insurance.

How about INTEGRITY & ETHICS! Blah blah blah!

Continuous delays. I get different responses to the same questions, depending on who I speak to. Was told I should receive underpayment 7-10 days Jan 15. Then after waiting (not receiving payment for regular std week either) I was told it had to be processed. Then I was told it was already mailed out. Then I was told it's being processed. Finally Jan 28th I saw on the website the check was issued. I called everyday because I had been told so many different things, and I was told on Jan 15 that the check was issued that day, which it was not. It's now Feb 6. I still have not received a check dated Jan 17, or the check for the underpayment. I did receive a check dated Jan 24, and Jan 30. I'm not sure how I'm receiving checks dated later than the ones that I have been told multiple time were sent out. I am now being deferred to check with my postal service. I asked what the process was for issuing checks-ie, does someone have to release the check so that the payment is issued and mailed. I was told no, and yes. Again depending on who I speak to. My adjuster has been very helpful and kind, I do not believe this is something she has delayed. I do believe there is a process that the recipient is denied knowledge of. There is no way that the postal service is able to deliver checks mailed 1/24 and 1/30 and the postal service is responsible for checks mailed 1/17 and 1/28 and have not been received. I have had constant delays with this company. I'm extremely nervous because the claim is going into Ltd within the next month and all I see are delays. This is cruel to have such a process that's affects a person's ability to maintain food and shelter for medical conditions beyond thier control. You're already suffering with medical conditions and the services that are in place to assist, just for this type of occurance are neglectful.

I have been off work for almost 3 months. I haven't received a check in 6 weeks now. Zero communication. I call over and over and finally get a return call and they say they just received the info from my doctor and now I have to wait on their doctor to review so yet another week with no check. Pointless to have short term disability at this point considering I will end up having to file bankruptcy anyway.

They have paid two different doctors so far to contradict my treating physicians and say that I am not disabled in order to get out of paying my policy's long-term disability benefits. I have an inoperable brain stem tumor. Do not give any of your money to these people. They are dishonest and don't care who they have to hurt to rake in their billions in profits annually.

ZERO customer service. Their goal is to get you FIRE from your work if you have to go back to work.
