My claim has been filed since May and the Doctors paperwork is completed. I have sent at least 3 emails and at least 4 telephone calls and no one has gotten back to me. I was told a manager will get back to me within 48 hours 3 times and when I asked how to escalate the claim to the next level, I was told there wasn’t anyone, I will express to my HR this is not the right company for us to use. You may receive a 4.2 rating but as more people begin to hear about this, it will go viral.

Yeah lincoln financial group done me the same way ,I was out of work for a total hip replacement for 12 weeks doctor orders only gotten paid for only about 7 weeks. when they was ready to cut me off std , they was needing paperwork from the doctor , saying they haven't received and and also papers from PT which the doctor say i didn't need PT ,i'll .If i ever have to go out again from my job again for a illness ,ill save my money and say the *** with that std ***

My girlfriend left her employer and lincoln has tried to make it impossible to roll over her 401k to a real investment firm. Lincoln sent her 30 pages of unnecessary documents with stringent deadlines in order complete phase 1 of the rollover. Lincoln is a terrible company and is trying to wear her down with useless paperwork so that she just leaves the money with them. I had a rollover completed with Vanguard and Fidelity with one simple phone call for a lot more money than this small rollover. DO NOT USE lincoln or you will never see your money again

This company denied not only my short term disability but my FMLA as well. I have been in and out of the hospital this whole year.I have submitted all required documentation and then some. This company has added more stress on me that i have had several panic attacks and fear losing my job. I am in the process of appealing all denials and may be seeking legal help.

My disability check was never even issued.

My short term disability was extended and I was told there would not be an interruption in my payments. My next check was not even issued. Brie with Lincoln Financial was notified by e-mail and phone calls. I have not received a response from either. I need the disability funds I am owed by Lincoln Financial!!

Accontability and honesty is everything. i would like my disability FMLA account worked in a timely matter.The time that the claims examintor gets back with you is unexceptale

My FMLA is still not approved from 10-15-19 . This the worst place Ive worked with, I have been on family leave for 15 years. I have never had this many problems. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone . Terrible

Short term disability communication bad

I contacted my case manager they assigned to make sure my docs were submitted on time. I have anxiety, slept apnea and narcolepsy. They sent forms to DC office but I go to office in VA. How did you even get dc fab when I gave you the va fax #. Therapist filled out forms and faxed in front of me and handed me confirmation page bc of my anxiety. Went to Neurologist office to get forms completed, dr office never received forms so I called and case manager said she sent again from fax in her office, but it’s not there. The operator faxed me the forms from general fax. Dr filled them out and sent them to case manager fax in front of me with confirmation page she said she didn’t get them. I called her from the dr office no response Neurologist sent them to general fax and got received. Evidently case manager fax has issues but the general fan for the company is electronic like WiFi not 1990s But this was after o got denial letter got not receiving dr info. Case manager only calls when things fall apart but never for prevention, Now I’m waiting for a nurse to review my file. I see a dr a specialist a neurologist at that but a nurse reviews my files and makes a decision of if my disability exists enough to get paid. I’m furious. How does this happen ? So now I need to tell my school to let the teacher assistants hire the principals. I’m asking for a new case manager. My company needs to get a new company to deal with std and ltd.

Lie after lie

You do all work, can never reach actual claim representative. I've gone out of my way to make sure everything went smoothly.

Still pending after i was told approved, they just need to confirm surgery, day of surgery, which hasn't been done yet. The extra stress of having to follow up after having a thyroidectomy due to cancer is not helping the healing process.

In the same boat, haven't been paid for a month now, I was given the excuse that they are reviewing my medical records and they need to speak with my doctor. I wonder how my doctor will be able to reach out to them when I can hardly speak with my claim representative. It takes me two weeks to get to speak with him.

Such a RIDICULOUS company! I don't even know why this company is still functioning.

I have to do all the work for them as well. I called several times and left a voice.

They hardly call back or pick calls. Terrible Company.

Horrible treatment by claims examiner

They repeatedly send and request medical updates – which I can understand. But the doctors fax the completed updates to the company and they repeatedly Deny ever getting them - The doctors have proof that they have sent the facsimile to the company because it is date stamped and timed. So of course the claims examiners deny the claim and that makes your money late . When you are sick and disabled you need to rest and recuperate and heal. The amount of harassment causes you to be sicker and sicker . The claims examiner went so far as to say oh you need money? Well you better off buying a lottery ticket ! This is so callous and uncompassionate and unprofessional . I am just shocked that the company are used to work for uses them as a vendor for their product for short term disability and long-term disability . I just think every single person should know what they’re getting into when they start paying premiums to Lincoln financial .

This is one of the worse companies that I have had to deal with. I contacted them at the first of October and ask for a payment to be sent to me. They still have not sent anything or contacted me. My Physician office was contacted and sent all of the information that was needed and still the only thing that you hear is a lot of lies. My Step I will contact the news media if need be.

I have been out of work since 7/3, my surgery was 7/18, we are now 8/16 and still have not received ANY of my short term disability payments. I get no return calls, no return emails, every time I try the main customer service number they want to transfer me to voice mails. This is insane. I have bills to pay and have been paying the policy for almost 2 years. They have gotten their money and I am wanting the money I am promised through my benefits.

Very upset for being treated like an undeserving customer who paid premiums- BUT representative said “if you need money - well better off to buy a lottery ticket”. !!!! She said this to the doctor and his assistant on speaker phone in front of me and my family
