Lincoln Financial Group - Very horrible experience I'm just getting the run around
I have been diagnosed with Renal cell carcinoma . Had my a partial kidney removal I contacted Lincoln finance company to activate my short term disability.
I have submitted forms given info that they asked me. They call me and tell me that check on my status of my application. Yet they call me from a number that is been changed 180******** when it's now 180******** security officer for the old number provided the new number saying they never changed it through the directory. A lot of people call the wrong number.
I finally reach some one they repeatedly ask the same questions over and over again that I've already given then a few days later call and say they have no I go on my claim like if I never called. So I do info again one lady from Lincoln wants to investigate my past for three months saying why I was injured at work. I was never injured at work I had surgery.
I have not received a check. Lincoln finance worker's are rude and unprofessional

I had the same issue with their phone number. Still have the voice mail to prove it.
My experience with Lincoln has been HORRIBLE. Had to resend documents numerous times. When you donโt feel well, it is hard enough to jump through hoops, but they have plenty. The main customer service people were polite, but the assigned claims person was not clear and not direct about what she needed.Both times I was off on maternity leave, and insured through Hartford, their staff were helpful, and realistic about the claims.
They understood the dynamics of what was happening medically, and didnโt add grief to the situation.
Every contact with Lincoln just made me feel thwarted every time. I would NEVER recommend Lincoln.
